When walking in the swamp it has an unbelievably calming effect the cool water, no noise except of a wading bird letting you know he is there and occasional frog and alligator sounds. At first you are very alert for snakes and whatever you think might be hiding in the water but that does not take long once you surrender yourself to nature it is such a strong feeling that takes over very peaceful and joyful.
